Empties videos are just so friggin' satisfying, ya know?
Who doesn't love that feeling of finishing an entire bottle of moisturizer or shampoo? We certainly do, but our bank balance might not agree.
The rules of empties videos? You finish a product, hold onto the empty bottle and then share a little mini review, easy peasy!
Some people do youtube (We do, we do!), some people do mini Instagram reviews and some people write lenghty blog posts detailing each individual product and why they like/dislike the product.
If you're looking for an honest review of a product before you invest it, empties are the way to go. That way you're listening to people who've used the entire product and have a well formed opinion!
That doesn't say that we don't love a good review post, yall know we love them!

Well we can safely say that we never, ever want to watch this show again. Ever. We are scarred for life.
What an utterly horrifying television show. Who in god's name created that, and why is it so popular? You people are crazy for wanting to be that scared. And don't even get us started you people who aren't scared. You'd have to be madder than a bag of spiders to like that.

We saw Fleur De Force do the Bedtime Tag and we thought "Why haven't we done this one!?" and so we did it!

And so the springness begins, the warm sunshine, the flowers blooming and the laughter of children in the air.... Except none of that because we're in Ireland and the weather is not good enough for any of that stuff until at least June. Sad times... Nevertheless we filmed our Spring Essentials video. It's slightly summery because we're being optimistic. Very optimistic.

We haven't posted a video in ages and we thought it was about time to do another one, this time we are emptying the bottomless pits we call handbags! There is a lot of random stuff in the bottom of everyone's bags, are we right? Empty sweet wrappers, strange bag dust and sometimes jellies that are stuck to other things (Gem knows this all too well, pocket jellies are the worst!)

What do you keep in your bag? Is it as messy as ours?
It's not October anymore. Who would have guessed it? Well it was October and we filmed our October favourites video to share with you guys on the last day of October (think we need a few more Octobers in that sentence! October , October, October... Yeah that should do it!). However life got in the way (trust us if you had as many college assignments as us you'd understand). So here it is... perhaps a little late, but as they say better late than salty (no that can't be right, can it?).
As college veterans, we are here to help you put aside your college newbie worries and guide you through your first few weeks of getting your degree. Here is our video on what you are going to need when the time to start college comes around.
1. Get yourself a diary or a date book for your first day where you can keep track of important dates.
2. A notebook and Pen is essential for your first day as you'll be given a load of information that should be written down.
3. Get a map of campus and keep it! You may need it at exam time or even in the next few years of college. 4. Bring a plastic folder to keep all the important documents you'll receive on your first day in. (Keep everything you're given during those first days, they'll likely be important and needed at some point in the future!) 5. Have a memory key on you at all times for printing assignments and saving in class work. 6. Wait a while before buying text books for lectures to make sure that they will actually be used. 7. Get a good water bottle. Most colleges have drinking water taps on campus so you can fill up your water bottle and not have to spend a load on bottled water. 8. Get a small lunch box that you can put snacks in. You won't always have time to run back to your dorm or to the cafeteria every time you're hungry. This will save you from disturbing a lecture with a loud rumbling stomach (we've been there. Not a lot of fun!).

As you might know Gemma is a huge weather freak (she's obsessed..... it's kinda scary!), when we heard that the science gallery in Dublin were having an exhibition about weather we had to check it (Gemma probably would have imploded if we didn't). So this past Thursday we headed into Dublin city to have a look at the exhibit, Strange Weather, (and to have bit of a frolic in general).
The science gallery doesn't open until midday so we decided to head into Dublin a bit earlier and do a bit of Shopping (let's face it, we're girls and given any chance to exchange money for goods and services, we're in there like swimwear).
After a little bit of retail therapy, we headed for lunch in Captain Americas on Grafton Street. This place does super yummy food and cocktails but seen as it was only 1 o'clock (which is before the acceptable time to start drinking) we got ourselves some pizza (which was delicious we might add). *Oh quick side note, if any of you guys are with o2 (The phone network) you can get yourself a 'buy one, get one free' on all main courses so check that out here.

After we were fed and watered, we went on our merry way towards the Science Gallery. The gallery itself is on the grounds of Trinity college so we got a chance to look at the beautiful architecture that covers the grounds.
We got to the science gallery at a nice time and there wasn't a huge crowd there. By this stage Jo thought Gemma was going to explode with excitement and she wasn't let down.
The exhibit had loads on offer for both children and adults interested in weather. From weather charts to people making clouds with helium, from models of the earth and predicted weather cycles to a screen that let you interact with cloud patterns. There was even a place where you see what it's like to be a weather person and read off a teleprompter in front of a green screen. They even film it and put it up on Youtube so you can watch it later. We had so much fun with this and it's way harder than you may think.
