Empties videos are just so friggin' satisfying, ya know?
Who doesn't love that feeling of finishing an entire bottle of moisturizer or shampoo? We certainly do, but our bank balance might not agree.
The rules of empties videos? You finish a product, hold onto the empty bottle and then share a little mini review, easy peasy!
Some people do youtube (We do, we do!), some people do mini Instagram reviews and some people write lenghty blog posts detailing each individual product and why they like/dislike the product.
If you're looking for an honest review of a product before you invest it, empties are the way to go. That way you're listening to people who've used the entire product and have a well formed opinion!
That doesn't say that we don't love a good review post, yall know we love them!
Have you got any empties? Share in the comments below!
Also Thumbs up and subscribe and all that good stuff, por favor!
Well we can safely say that we never, ever want to watch this show again. Ever. We are scarred for life.
What an utterly horrifying television show. Who in god's name created that, and why is it so popular? You people are crazy for wanting to be that scared. And don't even get us started you people who aren't scared. You'd have to be madder than a bag of spiders to like that.
If you want to see our reaction to seeing another American Horror Story episode then for your viewing pleasure, the video is down below.
*Spoiler* We got about 15 minutes in and that was it. We nearly vomited.
Got any other shows you want us to react to? Give us a shout in the comments!
If you didn't know from the countless number of instagrams and blog posts about it, we went to London! And boy did we not realise how many rules there are in that city. No. 1 and possibly the most important..don't stand on the left!!
So to help all the other unwitting tourists like ourselves, we've made a handy-dandy video about our London tips!
So grab a notebook, a cup of tea (2.5 rich tea biscuits) and watch on people....
Do you have any tips for people visiting London? We'd love to know, so chuck em' down in that there comments section!
Here we are yet again, another month flew by. We feel like we didn't even have a February, did we have one? Did we just skip it? Even with the extra day this year we didn't notice it pass us by so quickly. Damn time, slipping through our fingers! Quickly, we must seize the day! Someone get the motivational posters about not missing one single moment...
Here's what we loved this past month!
What did you love during February? Did it pass you by just as quick?
We have officially jumped back into the Youtube world! If you're wondering why we disappeared without a trace, you can check out this blog post by clicking right....here....
If you want to watch our faces make words and sounds check out this video. We talk about things nobody generally talks about. Or maybe normal people do and we're just bags of strange.
Let us know if you partake in this tag! We love watching tag videos, especially when they inform us of people nicknames and prepubescent job wishes.
Who doesn't love a good tag video? We certainly love them, and we love filming them! It's like getting a little hug from youtubers...
We saw Fleur De Force do the Bedtime Tag and we thought "Why haven't we done this one!?" and so we did it!
Don't forget to check out Fleur's video too! The link is in the video description!
We have never seen an episode of american horror story! We're kind of big scaredy cats but in order to entertain you lovely people we decided to watch the first episode of the program because we heard that it is the scariest and we are suckers for punishment. This is our reaction: (We advise you to watch with headphones on, there is screaming. Soz.)
And so the springness begins, the warm sunshine, the flowers blooming and the laughter of children in the air.... Except none of that because we're in Ireland and the weather is not good enough for any of that stuff until at least June. Sad times... Nevertheless we filmed our Spring Essentials video. It's slightly summery because we're being optimistic. Very optimistic.
Shout out to In The Frow and Lucy and Lydia for the inspiration for this one, watching hours of youtube has finally paid off in the form of video inspiration. Don't judge us. If you wanna watch their video click here
What are your spring essentials? Is the weather nice where you are?
Well the challenge was bestowed upon us and we feel we rose to the occasion. You may find the following video highly disturbing and young children should be ushered out of the room now.
Joke! we're actually very proud of this video!
P.s. this video is also known as "Johannah and the Disappearing Wine Glass" Keep an eye out for it, we seriously can't find it...
Here's our beauty haul video! Just a bit of a round up of the beauty items we've bought over he last while. Also there's some bloopers at the end if you guys want a bit of a laugh at our social ineptitude!
Let us know what you think and as always thanks for watching .
Until next time,
As you might know Gemma is a huge weather freak (she's obsessed..... it's kinda scary!), when we heard that the science gallery in Dublin were having an exhibition about weather we had to check it (Gemma probably would have imploded if we didn't). So this past Thursday we headed into Dublin city to have a look at the exhibit, Strange Weather, (and to have bit of a frolic in general).
The science gallery doesn't open until midday so we decided to head into Dublin a bit earlier and do a bit of Shopping (let's face it, we're girls and given any chance to exchange money for goods and services, we're in there like swimwear).
After a little bit of retail therapy, we headed for lunch in Captain Americas on Grafton Street. This place does super yummy food and cocktails but seen as it was only 1 o'clock (which is before the acceptable time to start drinking) we got ourselves some pizza (which was delicious we might add). *Oh quick side note, if any of you guys are with o2 (The phone network) you can get yourself a 'buy one, get one free' on all main courses so check that out here.
One of the beautiful buildings on the grounds of trinity college.
After we were fed and watered, we went on our merry way towards the Science Gallery. The gallery itself is on the grounds of Trinity college so we got a chance to look at the beautiful architecture that covers the grounds.
We got to the science gallery at a nice time and there wasn't a huge crowd there. By this stage Jo thought Gemma was going to explode with excitement and she wasn't let down.
The exhibit had loads on offer for both children and adults interested in weather. From weather charts to people making clouds with helium, from models of the earth and predicted weather cycles to a screen that let you interact with cloud patterns. There was even a place where you see what it's like to be a weather person and read off a teleprompter in front of a green screen. They even film it and put it up on Youtube so you can watch it later. We had so much fun with this and it's way harder than you may think. If you want to see us making complete messes of ourselves you can watch the videos below.
Gem's Future Forecast
Skip to 0:49 to see Gem utterly confused by words...
Jo's Future Forecast
Unfortunately Youtube hates us and refuses to let us put Jo's video on the blog, so if you want to see Jo's forecast video you're gonna have to do the ole fashioned copy and paste of this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJZBNo7i-PY
Over all it was a great day and the gallery was well worth it. The exhibit runs until the 5th of October and entry to the science gallery is free so there's no reason not to check it out if you're around Dublin. Check out the Science Gallery's website here for more information.
